Dear Little Farm School community

Armed with umbrellas and rain jackets, we set out in the beautiful rain on Monday morning to choose a good location for our newly crafted rain gauge. And to our surprise and delight when checking it the following day we found it almost full after just one day!

Checking on the rain gauges each day has given the children opportunities to estimate, observe, compare and measure.

The children have discovered that water on Earth is either salty or fresh, and through a taste test experiment they have decided that salty water is not suitable for drinking.

The week has been filled with moments of joyful play, picnics, ball games, music and many mud kitchen delights.

Enjoy the weekend all!
Ms. Sam
